So it finally happened. After four long years of the same people, some good and some bad, and the same teachers, also some good and some bad, I graduated. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 5:00pm at Reynolds Coliseum. Yes it was very, very hot and yes I was sweating like a pig but it didn't matter. After I walked across that stage, it just felt like nothing mattered. No more high school drama. No more morning annoucements. No more high school. It's gone and I'll never get it back. And now, what happens? You recent high school graduates, what do I do now? High school is over and I feel like I need to go Island hopping in Fiji or go climb a mountain, any mountain, or I need to go backpacking in some foreign country. The country doesn't matter as long as I go. What to do, what to do? Now, my summer will consist of the YMCA, which some of the kids have already left. Going to visit family and lots and lots of college. I just want to go and do something. Something that I've never done. I want to leave my comfort zone and go. The place doesn't matter as long as I go.
